91pt Spanish Red $8btl- LIMITED
Bodegas El Angosto, which means narrow, but it’s the name of the estate, was created in 2005 in the village of Onteniente/Ontinyent (Valencia) by the plant nursery Cambra (family of winemaker Rafael Cambra) after 100 years and four generations in the business. Someone here clearly knows what he/she is doing. The wines are very well made and the prices are extremely affordable.
Some other winemakers in the area complain that Angosto sells their wines way too cheap and in turn makes it harder for them to compete. We say, OH WELL!
